- Live Out Loud Theatre Productions and Services was founded by Krista J. Konkin in the spring of 2008. Having graced the stage as a dancer, singer and actor for 25 years, thirteen of those being professional, KJ has also had her hand at writing, directing, choreographing, casting, producing and consulting, as well as facilitating workshops in the Music Theatre genre. After spending the last fourteen years in Toronto and Vancouver, KJ and her husband - also a Music Theatre professional - have moved back to KJ’s home town of Moose Jaw due to make some money in the booming real estate market. It seemed the perfect time to start Live Out Loud Theatre and so...while they flipped their house for a sweet profit...a company was born. In September of 2009, KJ was named Theatre Artist In Residence in Mortlach, SK and will remain there until the end of her contract in August 2010.
