I had a great time this past Tuesday, teaching my very first workshop in Mortlach, SK. It was a Beginners Hip Hop Workshop and we had an impressive turn out of 15 people (not including some of the Moms who eventually broke down and started to bust-a-move).
Come join me at my next workshop in Mortlach on APRIL 10th, 2008 at the Mortlach Town Hall on Rose Street for...
An Introduction to Improv Acting 7pm - 9pm
Fee: $5 will be collected at the door
Wear Comfortable Clothes
This is bound to be a lot of fun and I hope to see many of my Hip Hop-ers out as well as some of the new faces who weren't interested in doin' the intense cardio of the dance workshop.
"Improv" is short for Improvisation and has been made popular by shows such as Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Tony and Tina's Wedding. It is a spontaneous, imaginative form of acting that needs no script, just a little daring. Improv has been used for decades to help bring people out of their shells and inspire outside-the-box thinking.
Curious? Come and Play!
